Lagos LG Polls: HON. OLUROTIMI ADELEYE (MISSION MAN,) Joins Race, Picks APC Form

Ahead of the Lagos State Chairmanship Primary Election Scheduled to hold on 29th of May, the leading contender and foremost Chairmanship Aspirant on the platforms of APC, Hon. Adeleye Olurotimi has picked his nomination forms to contest the Lagos LG 2021 Election.
He has officially joined the race for the coveted seat.

Adeleye while addressing his teaming supporters at the State Party Secretariat of APC at Acme Road, Ogba, Lagos moments after picking the form reiterated his determination to bring about the needed people oriented leadership qualities to bear on the affairs of Ifako Ijaiye L.G.A.

He stated that his well articulated 7 points agenda for the Council will place the LGA on the path of development.

Emphatically, he said his 7 points agenda is wrapped around the *APC Party Manifesto* and the *T.H.E.M.E.S Policy Thrust* of the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

According to this Media guru, he said “I did not come for mere show, I did not come for power, I did not come for fame but I have come to lead the LGA out of democratic backwardness".

He noted that Ifako Ijaiye is today faced with mirage of challenges, hence the need to be united in purpose and face the difficulties with fortitude and determination and also respond to differences with an inclusive attitude.

He said: “The journey towards liberating our dear Local Government and restoring our pride of place in the committee of LGA has just begun in earnest. I therefore seek your prayers and your supports. There shall be indeed showers of blessings; seasons refreshing; precious reviving and sound of abundance when we assume office. I bring message of hope to the unemployed youths, to the deprived pensioners and the oppressed people of Ifako Ijaiye. I am confident that together we will emerge victorious.

We are one people with one destiny. With eyes fixed on the horizon and God’s grace upon us, we shall carry on this great task of rebuilding Ifako Ijaiye LGA and deliver it safely to future generation".

The picking of nomination forms has sent jitters down the spines of Adeleye's opponents, as the seasoned Journalist and Humanitarian of note has been tipped as the one to brace the tape of victory in the Ifako Ijaiye LGA Chairmanship Election.

The outing at the APC State Secretariat attracted prominent Ifako Ijaiye sons and daughters across the State and a mammoth crowd of his supporters in Ifako Ijaiye.

Before picking the form for Chairmanship race , Adeleye has made meaningful impact on the lives of people of Ifako Ijaiye through his numerous philanthropic and humanitarian activities across the LGA.

Adeleye has promised to bring to bear in the office his international exposure to change the sorry state of Ifako Ijaiye and improve the well being of the people.

He has promised radical changes in key sectors of the LGA economy, health and education. He has also vowed to open up the council to the global economy when elected.
