TB Joshua is dead

 

Renowned Pastor and televangelist, Temitope Balogun Joshua is dead according to the monarch of his home town in Ondo state.

Vanguard confirmed this from the traditional ruler of Arigidi Akoko, in Ondo Oba Yisa Olanipekun.

Oba Olanipekun told vanguard this morning that the clergyman died on Saturday.

” Yes its true l have been informed by his people in Lagos.

He described the death of the TB Joshua as a rude shock.

Reports also had it that the chief Imam of Arigidi Akoko, Alhaji Salisu Musa who happens to be T.B Joshua’s uncle has equally confirmed the news of his demise

Alahaji Musa said that his death was too sudden.

The cause of his death was not revealed. However, the statement said the clergyman spent his last moment on earth in the service of God.

“On Saturday 5th June 2021, Prophet TB Joshua spoke during the Emmanuel TV Partners Meeting: “Time for everything – time to come here for prayer and time to return home after the service.”

“God has taken His servant Prophet TB Joshua home – as it should be by divine will. His last moments on earth were spent in the service of God. This is what he was born for, lived for and died for.

Until his death, he was the General Overseer of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations and Emmanuel TV.

According to Lagos Commissioner of Police who gave an insight, he said " But the information we have is that he was conducting service. Along the line, he felt uncomfortable, walked to his apartment himself and never came back.

“His people thought he probably wanted to rest or refresh but when they didn’t see him after a long while, they went in search of him and found him in an unusual position.

“The service started in the evening. But it was around 3am that he was pronounced dead by a hospital.”

The church said Joshua’s last words to his members were “watch and pray.”

He was said to have also reminded them there was time for everything before he left the church hall.

Meanwhile, a few days ago, TB Joshua wrote on his Facebook page that he won't be able to celebrate his 58th birthday. 

Joshua who was born on 12 June 1963, died six days six days to his birthday.

He wrote: “As things stand, you may have realised it will not be easy for me to celebrate my birthday under the present circumstances”.
