Obasa tips Badagry law maker to succeed him as Lagos speaker
Mudashiru Obasa, Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA) Speaker says one of the Badagry representatives may succeed him.
He spoke on Wednesday at the donation of classrooms to Ajara Comprehensive Senior High School by Hon. Setonji David.
David represents Badagry II constituency, while Ibrahim Layode represents Badagry I constituency.
The duo are All Progressives Congress (APC) members.
“A Badagry representative stands a chance of becoming the Speaker if the people continue to send old and experienced representatives to the assembly”, NAN quoted him as saying.
“It is an old member that can call the commissioner or anybody in authority, because of his level of experience, to facilitate infrastructure development to his constituency.”
Obasa advised the people of Badagry to continue to support their sons.
The Speaker said since one or them is in his fourth term, there is a possibility of him leading the Lagos Assembly.
Obasa disclosed that being in the Lagos legislature for four terms helped him emerge as the Speaker.
It remains to be seen if Obasa’s hint is part of the APC or the Assembly’s calculations.
So until u are old member or u stay there for 100years before u become a speaker?
ReplyDeleteNONSENSE!!!
Absolutely nonsense.
ReplyDeleteYou know many of them do not worth being a counselor as a result of their incompetency, they always want to fool the masses so that people can believe until their representative go 4-5 times, then they can be the speaker, i think it is mental slavery to be subjected to believing that.
I will urge lagosians not to allow even 2nd term.
Getting there 2 or more term will open way for been use as slaves, after getting there they see themselves as superior.
