Prices of T-fare skyrocket , roads block, as Endsars protest continues in Lekki

 


Lagosians in Lekki axis of the state, have remained dogged, resilient and determined in the course of the#endsars protest. 

From last week Thursday till now, protest championed by different groups, heads, in the Lekki axis have been moving in progressively. On Thursday, Falz and Runtown led one. The following day also witnessed another. Including the one of Saturday with a very huge turnout. 

It's however astonishing today, how the protesters have gathered themselves at the Lekki tollgate in the same course. 



Today's Protest also witnessed a large crowd, causing delay for vehicles and commuters who are resuming to office. Not only did it caused delay, but also inflated the cost of T-fare as Ajah to Falomo was carried for 1000 Naira. 


The delay also saw passengers spend 5hrs from Ajah to Lekki.

Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police, has officially dissolved the police special Anti- robbery Squad yesterday, following agitations from the masses. 

However, it's gathered that the protesters expect an executive order from the president, Muhammad Buhari and a total reform of the police.
