Oniru of Iruland holds 4days meeting with residents, vows for economic support
THE Oniru of Iruland, Oba Omogbolahan Abdulwasiu Lawal, Abisogun II, has reiterated his commitment to the development of Iruland through enhancement of security and frequent empowerment of residents.
Speaking at a four-day town hall meeting hosted by the monarch to engage stakeholders, residents and business entities on Oniru Estate, the monarch said the meeting was meant to discuss the prospects towards improving livelihood and fostering development.
He said the parley was an effort to solicit, direct feedback about present conditions and future development strategies.
The traditional ruler, who joined the meeting virtually, expressed his passion for frequently engaging stakeholders.
He described them as allies and partners for the development and growth of the kingdom.
