African Young Leaders Initiative, to train Lagos youth on App/web devt.

The African Young Leaders Empowerment Initiative has partnered with the Lagos Communities Youth Development Initiative, to  equip youth with full knowledge of Mobile App Development or Full Stack Web Development.

The project was born due to the undying demand of these two concepts in the technology sector, and to use it to reduce the pervasive unemployment among the Lagos youths. 

A Mobile app development is the act or process by which a mobile app is developed for mobile devices, such as personal digital assistants, enterprise digital assistants, or mobile phones. Therefore, a full-stack developer is an engineer, who can handle all the work of databases, servers, systems engineering, and clients. Depending on the project, what customers need may be a mobile stack, a Web stack, or a native application stack.

The training will be held at the physical venues in the five divisions of the state: Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos Island and Epe. The participants are expected to show all levels of seriousness determination and remain focused throughout the five days, in order to achieve the set goals. 

As a necessity, each participant is expected to have a personal computer system as phones are too small or not really compatible to carry out the instructions.

As a private organization program, each participant is expected to register with #5000 naira. 

The registration covers a portfolio server ( domain name and hosting inclusive. ) Also, the participants will get internship opportunities and certificate with six-month technical support.

During the training, over 20 projects will be given to each participants, based on the lecture received and will be uploaded to his/her portfolio server.
