Ebenezer Obey is alive, not dead.

Following the rumour on the social media on Saturday that the Juju musician Ebenezer Obey is dead, he stoop up in a reaction against that, as he debunked the rumour.

 The writer of the story had written that The music professor, is critically ill and died early on Saturday in a London hospital. As always the case on social media, it has gone viral beyond doubt, before the story was cleared by Obey himself.

He said " I'm hale and hearty" on a video posted on social media by  his children –Lanre and Tolu- that all was well with him.

I’m okay. What you’re hearing is all rumour,” he said in Yoruba.
